One of the most famous and traditional cakes in Poland called “babka piaskowa” (sandy cake). Very popular and baked for every holiday and other occasions. The cake is very delicate hence the name “sandy”. It’s made from potato and wheat flours with butter, sugar, eggs and baking powder. Great with tea or coffee anytime during the day. Made from only natural ingredients by Polish bakery in the Polish neighborhood of Greenpoint in New York. Baked daily and always shipped on the same day it was baked.
